Reporting a Crime

Prosecutor Selvaggio and the Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys work closely with all law enforcement agencies within Champaign County, assisting in the direction of investigations and other activities necessary to see that offenders receive fair and impartial treatment under the law and that justice is carried out in the best interests of the citizens of the Champaign County.

Reporting Criminal Activity

Reports of criminal activity should be reported to your local city's police department. In unincorporated areas of Champaign County, reports should go to the Champaign County Sheriff's Office.  In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1.  Otherwise, law enforcement can be reached at the following numbers:
